The Process

Bigelow creek Candles are made with all natural wax from the soy bean grown in the US. Soy wax melts at a lower temperature than paraffin, making it safer to burn. These waxes generally burn clean producing little soot. They are known to be non-toxic, biodegradable, friendlier to the environment and longer burning than paraffin. At Bigelow Creek Candles we are committed to making our candles without dyes to keep the ingredients all natural. Soy wax cleans up with hot soapy water. This is a nice benefit if you’d like to reuse your jar for a vase or fill it with marbles or jelly beans and use it as a fun centerpiece.

Helpful Hints

• Don’t forget to trim your wick, keeping around ¼ inch exposed from the wax.
• When using your candle for the first time, always let the candle wax melt completely across. Candles have a memory just like us. If you don’t let the wax melt completely across the top it will not burn evenly for the life of that candle.
